Today I spoke to the tower crew chief at the original State Street tower site. It was ironic to see the the support platform next to the top mounted mixed analog - digital antenna getting ready to be taken down for good. I could not return to take photos due to medical appointments. The tower will remain because a communication radio service has ownership of this site. A pole will be added top the top of the tower just to hold the top beacon light in place. It seems a few D.T.L-P stations have some idea of using this site. Only time will tell.
