Thinking of ordering HR-23 with HD programming.
Does HR-23 require two coax lines?
Might have a problem running additional line as line is run under house. Doubt installers will run line under house.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you only use one line you can only tune to and/or record one program at a time but it will work.

Thanks joed. I think I might go with a swm system. I have heard you only need one line for both tuners in the hr-23.

It depends on the dish. The Slimline-5 will allow 1 coax for 2 tuners. It also lets you wire up more receivers with normal splitters instead of doing point to point from a multiswitch. There is a box on the coax that handles all of that. I used this with my HR-21 and an SD DVR.
Sorry I don't remember all of the terminology as I'm back on the old 5 LNB dish now, where I do need 1 coax per tuner and the PITA multiswitch. The Slimline system is pretty slick.
