I apologize ahead of time for posting this on 3 places on avsforums. I am just not sure which is best. I just got DirectTV HDTV on my TV. When I connect the Y/Pb/Pr to my DTV connection, I can see the DTV box bootup, then the screen goes blue. I moved the Y/Pb/Pr to component 2, and had the same issue. When I moved it to an S-video connection, it works great, but now it is only in 480.....if it would work in the DTV or component spot, it would be in 1080i! Obviously, that is what I want. I have heard this is an ongoing problem with this TV. Anyone figure this out?

Make sure you have the plugs connnected to the proper jacks. The blue and green could look similar in poor let areas.

Also, maybe you need to get into your TV's menu and enable those jacks to be "ON"?

Which DirecTV box do you have? I didn't know they offered the Red/Green/Blue cables on any of their equipment. I have only had one HD box by DirecTV so I am probably wrong. You are the one connecting it. ha!
