View Full Version : My MACCAM Warranty Experince (Pioneer Plasma)

Not sure If this is the proper section for this post but couldnt find any where else.

So My Pioneer PDP5070HD was shutting off after approx 5-10 minutes of use and the standby light would blink 3x. Luckily I purchased an extended 3 year warranty from Mac camera. So I contacted them and after 3 days they finally got back in touch with me. An appointment was made for them to come service TV and they said It wouldn't be till 3 days after that for them to service TV. Well on Tuesday morning I received a call and the Tech tells me the "van broke down" and they will have to reschedule for Thursday. They did show up on Thursday and said instead of trying to trouble shoot it at my residence they will have to take the TV back to the shop which is in NJ ( I live on Long Island NY)

Well here we are 8 days later and after several calls back and forth and all they can tell me is "we don't see anything wrong with the set, Worst comes to worst we will bring TV back to you and see what happens" When the service men came to house to pick up set they witnessed light blinking. The Tech was gone for the day so I am supposed to talk with him on Monday. Not satisfied thus far hopefully Monday will be a better outcome. Stay tuned.....

Im sure I wont be seeing this TV back until after the holiday week :(
