Okay. I need some help here. I'm at a roadblock and figure that 100 heads are better than one. Here are several shots of my AV closet. I am nearly finished making false walls. This effectively keeps the HVAC and my conduit runs in their own "pocket" of space that is seperate form the theater. You'll just have to trust me on that since its not clear from the photos.

I need to bring the conduits into my theater envelope at some point, so the conduit does need to pierce the envelope. I figure I can not avoid that. The problem is that when I planned this out, I assumed the conduit was super flexible, and its not really. So.....I need to bring in 7 conduits and I only have a tiny 9" across space to do it. Now granted I have about 75 verticle inches, but I can not figure out how to get conduit in given its lack of flexability.

HAHA. I think I have a solution. I can build a custom box out of MDF. I'll make the box ~6 wide so its recessed snugly into the 6 space" Then, I'll get a bunch of these....

....and attach 7 of them to the back side of the box. Since the conduit is coming down form the celing, it should slip nicely into these stubs without having to bend a lot.

For the front of this custom box, I can chop out an area just big enough to install a double gang sized 7.1 pannel.
