I am in the framing stage of my theater room and need to make some decisions. My space is 16W X 40D x 9H. I am trying to decide on the length of the room. We are either going to leave the entire space open or put in two separate rooms. The builder suggests the first room at 18ft and the theater at 22 ft. Any suggestions that you have will be GREATLY appreciated!

You should post a sketch of the floor plan to help with getting some reccomendations.

Also going to need your input as to what you are trying to accomplish, how many seats? how big of a screen? type of equipment/budget.
