I'm experimenting with my new Panasonic 32x1 tv by plugging in the coaxial directly into the back of the tv. my other rooms have HD DVR from Time Warner, but with this new tv, i'm trying to see if without an HD box, if I'd get CNN HD at all.

for some reason, using Auto scan, i'm unable to find CNN HD. my location is NYC Manhattan (South Manhattan using Time Warner Cable-speak).

May i ask if anyone knows the proper channel number for CNN HD by directly plugging in the coax (without using the HD cable box)? Is it possible that CNN HD is not available without the use of an HD cable box?
