edit: also these are bipole speakers with four 7 inch woofers.... theres a pic of front and back and close up of tweet/mid.....

Hi all, Im new here and I have looked high and low to find out what these speakers are. I grabbed them for $75 after a quick audition in this guys home and I thought theyd make good replacement for my crappy sony bookshelf surrounds seeing as that was the weakest link of my system thus far. Any help would be appreciated. Ive thought they could be of Advent, RCA, or someother brand but there are absolutely no markings anywhere and the previous owners kids took the nameplates off the grilles and he did not have them. Ive removed some of the drivers and tried searching using the random numbers on the back of the drivers but Ive had no luck there either. Ive read this site quite a bit while building my home theater and I knew this was the place to go to get some answers. The woofers measure out to about 7 inches exactly. If you measure the woofer bracket as well its closer to 8. Im stumped

I don't know.....they look to be home-made.
Perhaps circa 80's to early 90's?

back in the 90's my friend had a pair of KLH speakers that had the same looking finish and midrange I believe.

Chances are the owners' kids keep them for treasures.
