Helping a friend build a new HT with a Runco 980 Ultra (9PGX) he picked up at a local shop that originally sold it new then took it back on trade. Should be a really nice machine, tubes are clean.
Not sure whether to go with the older F1 or whether the 9PGX really deserves the 3 times more expensive F2?

Given the age of the F1 at this point, I wouldn't use it. Go with the II.

curt do you think the physical age of the circuit itself is an issue even for NOS fury's that are still floating around or are you referring to pic quality issues RE the F1?
i've been spoiled withe Moome cards now for 6 years so never had to deal with these before?
