So am I correct in saying that the latest firmware is yet another useless one? I have had mine for two years now, same firmware it shipped with, and it seems with each release of firmware there are just more disadvantages.

...and if there is a software update as well as a firmware update...give it to us for god sakes. I think I'll buy another brand next time around

If your gonna push another pj, let's hear what it is! As long as you don't post a price and supplier. At least that way those reading these posts can make first hand comparisons themselves if they choose to do so.

Hi!

I got another problem with my 4805. When I am looking at movies using my dvdplayer with dvi connection to my 4805 all the black parts of the picture gets very filled with noise. I don't have this problem when I am using component cable . Has anyone the same problem as I? The picture is very good except of the black parts of the picture...

/Johan

I had this prob once when I watched Se7en upsaled to 720p via an Oppo player. I tried everything and couldn't get it to go away, I believe it was almost like blue lines in the black areas. I changed the DVI cable and everything was fine, for almost a year now.

Good luck

Agreed. However let's not do it in this thread, OK? The subject doesn't really fit the topic, does it?

(DeerHunter - I know you know this. This was more for the OP.)
