Anyone know when or if this is gonna availible in the US? I'm in need of a video switcher and the deisgn of the Joytech XBox 360 Control Center looks pretty good. Not as sleek as the XBox 360 but somewhat close.

Anyone? I know BestBuy currently sells the Joytech AV Control Center 240 Series,
so any guesses if this would be availible at BestBuy too?

I'd try ebay, if you find a good ebay store you should be able to get it new

The new Pelican Pro 2.0 is out now and has all the same features (don't think it comes in white but it is available in Silver and Black) .

I heard the old Pelican System Selector Pro degrades 720p and 1080i signals. Does the new one have any of those problems? I kinda like this one because of how the design is similar to the Xbox 360.

This one: http://www.joytech.net/products.php?section=viewprod&productID=79&lang=1&catID=9 is available at Best Buy (Canada - not sure about States), I'm using it now and have no complaints. Has Component, optical, and even ethernet switching (good for both Xbox and 360)

I've got the Audio Authority component switcher and have been very happy with it. There is zero signal degradation that I can see and it will automatically convert Toslink and coax audio sources into a single uplink to your AVR.

I've heard various reports about the Pelican, some good and some bad so ymmv.

The Joytech doesn't appear to support digital coax either, might not be a big deal but something to consider.

The one from Joytech sounds like it will be better, we will just have to wait and see.......

I prefer the Joytech one too. I guess the features aren't much better then the older AV Control Center 240 but I still like the design more because of the similarity to the Xbox 360 and how it can be placed horizontally or vertically. Its going to retail at around $100 so its a pretty good buy. I guess i'll just wait too .

I have had the Audio Authority for more than 2 years and is the best quality you can have. Yes, it's more expensive than the other ones, but you don't suffer any signal degradation.

It looks like the Joytech Xbox 360 Control Center won't be availible until March. At least in the UK. The originally release date was suppose to be January 27. :(

I was hoping it would be availible thru Best Buy since I still have 2 unused $50 gift cards for there.

 Although the link still works it looks like they removed the Xbox 360 Control center from the Xbox 360 section. I hope this doesn't mean their gonna cancel it. I would buy the AV Control Center 240 Series but I heard people having problems with 720p and 1080i and the fact it doesn't have a Ethernet Switch like the Xbox 360 control center and only one ethernet connection can be active at a time.

If you do a search for Control Center, then it will be there. I E-mailed the company a week ago to find out more info, but I have not gotten an answer back yet. It looks to be a good one for connections since you can connect 4 devices with all options (Optical, Digital, Component and so on), I know others don't give you 4 devices will all connections. Also it has a 5 port switch, meaning if everything is plugged into it will stay connected when you choose another device (Unlike the pelican System Selector Pro and the 240).

I use this 4-2 matrix component/audio switch (http://www.hdtvsupply.com/vics4maswfrs.html) and it works flawlessly. The best part (for me) is the two output, so I have it connected to my projector and lcd tv and can switch between 4 inputs easily. No picture/audio degradation from what I can tell.

Highly recommend it and it isn't too much more (I got it for $200 but it looks to be $230ish now).

The Joytech Xbox 360 AV switch is not available yet in North America. Gamestop has what looks to be a very similar design by a company called InTec.
Sorry I can't post a live link. I have to make five posts before the forum will let me enter links...

Walmart is $10 cheaper than Gamestop.

The Intec one is a very cheap one. Don't go this way. I believe that the Joytech will be way better. I am just waiting to see which one will be the best.............I never got a return E-mail from Joytech by the way and haven't heard much about it lately either.........

I just bought the Joytech A/V Control Center 240 Series, but I can't give a review yet - my bulb blew in my DLP, so I'm waiting for a replacement. Best buy had it for $89.99, which was $10 cheaper than the pelican one, which was an open box!

Last I read somewhere was that it was pushed about a few more months.........I found this http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/Xbox-360jpxtmgf3n67s/ and it is for September.......They have added the 540C to it and I have read post from other peeps with info from the manufacturer saying that they delayed it to test more and tweak it more......I have been waiting for it also......

You can find this at walmart for around 99 dollars.

So far every review seems to think it is a good product. It has a chincy remote control. The only thing I think it is missing is a HDMI output, but we know that would have involved alot more engineering and hardware inside it to allow.

More discussion here about it. Mostly at the end pages. I like mine and am very happy with it. I use it for DVR, 360 and PS2 mostly.
