I am currently in the last stages of developing a set of floor plans for my basement renovation which includes a home theater. I have been using Visio to lay everything out which seems to work quite well. I've noticed lots of other folks here in the forum using visio and was wondering if there are any home theater shapes people are willing to share or is there a repository out there somewhere. Its getting tedious trying to create shapes for a specific Berkline chair(s) or other complex items.

Reviving an old thread.....

Anybody know of other Visio shapes available? I am trying to finish up a basic schematic of my components/wiring/etc. and some basic shapes would be handy.

I have been searching for some Visio stencils for specific AV equipment manufacturers, but can't seem to find any. I guess I'll have to create the basic dimensions from scratch. It is common for network/telephone equipment manufacturers to make the shapes/stencils available...but it doesn't seem to be the case for AV equipment. Bummer.

I'm also looking for some MS Visio shapes for home theater equipment. help.

Once you have used Visio a bit it is not hard to make your own shapes. Take a look at these:
