I've got a question, but first a bit of background.

I'm looking to buy a TH-42PHD8UK. I work for a large integrator and we sell many plasmas. Many months ago, we (our company, not me) replaced the stock component card in a large Panasonic with a TY-42TM6Y. That stock component board was gien to me today by the engineer who's cubicle it's been sitting in for the last many months.

I need an extra board and this would save me some bucks. The problem is, he's not positive what model it came out of. He's 98% sure it was from a 65" industrial, but doesn't know if it was a 7UK or an 8UK or something else???

The only markings on the card are on the face plate above the BNCs and it says TUWF133. I just talked to Panasonic Pro Support and they've never heard of this board. He just said that that's probably not the model number.

Has anyone ever heard of this number? If anyone has a 65" industrial, could they peek and see if their board has this number (I know - easier said than done).

Any thoughts or info would be great.

Thanks.

Panasonic makes only one BNC Component Board, the TY-42TM6A.

Compatible with ALL Commercial "6UY", "7UY" & "8UK" Models

Thanks BruZZi. That's what I thought. One thing that makes me wonder though is that my board only has two phillips screws on the face and a little more space between the BNCs and RCAs.

Hi, My name is Cody Miller, I work with a gym that recently has upgraded all of their video systems and that cards that are marked tuwf133 weren't compatible with the televisions we had so we replaced them. But I've got 11 of those cards you are talking about. If you'd like to call me at 479.599.9050, or email me, maybe we can work something out if you're still interested. Thanks, Cody J Miller.

Old thread, but... Just FYI, my TH-42PH9UK (it's great) came with component blade pre-installed. It's stamped TUWF133. Just be aware that some blades only work in specific slots.

I haven't tried it in any other slot but I just bought another one (TUWF133) on eBay so I'll give it a shot when I get it.

Well, I got the board and it turned out to be an s-video/composite board (TY-42TM6B). The number on the mounting plate is stamped TUWF133, the same as my component board. TUWF133 could just be a number refering to the mounting plate. The eBay item had a picture of a component board...

The board matches the TY-42TM6B on the pani site but the number is nowhere to be found on the board. It's probably missing the sticker.. It has one s-video input one BNC composite input, one BNC composite output and stereo RCA inputs.
