Are there any DVD players out there supporting Custom Resolutions. I have tried a Bravo D2 but it is just too quirky for the installation I need something more solid.
The nice thing was with a custom resolution was the detail was astounding on my Panasonic Plasma at 1366x768. To achieve this, you need a custom resolution feature.
Getting to native rate provides the best looking image I have seen without using a Scaler.
This would be an awesome feature. Are there any other players (Still in production) that offer custom resolutions?
Thanks,
Rich

5910? And maybe the new 3930?
The Arcam DV137 might too.
Maybe not fully custom, but the popular res for 768p panels?
I don't know, I'm asking too in that I've recently become interested in this as well. :)
Momitsu??

Momitsu looks like a possibility. I will have to read up on it.

These are much more expenisve my needs. Vacation home and all. I would rather put the money in a scaler.

Neither the 5910 or AV-137 have custom resolution capabilities. The AV-137 has a few more than the "normal" standardized resolutions - IIRC 1366x768 is one of them. But, whether or not it matches the timings for the Panny is a guess at best (unless you try it, of course).

I've read Bravo D1, Bravo D2, Momitsu V 880 and Snazio. All with DVI output.
I would like to know any other but with HDMI.
Anyone have a model number for the Snazio? To get around the DVI dilemma, I bought an adapter to HDMI since I'm using optical audio output. If you are looking for the all in one, then I don't have an answer for you.
I am looking for the same type of dvd players curretly.
The snazio model is 1350 which is in fact a network media center. However, I could not find a good review for this model.
