I just ordered an Advent 30" Widescreen HDTV with matching Prima Stand from BestBuy:

I have never heard of this brand.... has this been rebranded from another make and model?

Are there any reviews of this CRT HDTV? Any disadvantages or possible problems in the future?

Is it worth $500 with a free stand (worth $200)???

I would appreciate any advice or comments in the next 5 days since I need to confirm the order but I will not confirm it until I get some feedback about this CRT TV.

Re the Advent TV, I bought an Advent HDTV - 27" regular (4:3) format about two years ago and am extremely unhappy with it. The set is noisy and buzzes constantly. Picture is only so so. My Panasonic tube is much nicer and was less $. I hope you did not confirm the order.

Used CRT TVs are sure going cheap. Someone in town is offering the set in the OP and matching stand for $320. $340 for a 34HF84(I assume its not a X model).
