I've got an older version, as I couldn't get it to compile. Is there anyone out there with a new one?

TIA

No, but you might want to check the wizd forum at I-O Data. (http://www.iodata.com/usa/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=110) Wizd's author, FlipFlop, posts back there every few months.

Other places to find wizd information include the AVS Forums wizd thread (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?p=5001702&&#post5001702) and the new wizd home page. (http://wizd.sourceforge.net/)

When I was still using wizd I downloaded Mac executables from jhue's site. (http://jhue.users.sonic.net/)

Hope that helps. BTW, what are you hoping to use wizd for?

With my Snazio, to stream VIDEO_TS folders.

I've read great things about the picture quality on the Snazio. Unfortunately I've also read it suffers from many of the same Syabas middleware bugs as the I-O Data AVLP2. Inablility to play many of my 480i MPEG2 recordings was the trigger for me to leave my LP2 and move up to my CoreDuo Mini. Rotten photo display and horrible mp3 play were other reasons.

The binaries listed on jhue's site worked beautifully from my PowerBook and G4 Mini, excluding wizd's bookmarking feature. For some reason that FlipFlop never explained, bookmarking doesn't work on Macs.

Best luck with your Snazio!

I built a universal binary of wizd_v24 this weekend. You can download it from http://jhue.users.sonic.net. Binaries for the Kuro-Box and x86_64 Linux are available for download too.

I didn't test the Mac version except from a web browser, as I use the Kuro-Box and an AMD64 server to feed my Linkplayer2 at home.
