I don't think you can actually die during co-op, so it shouldn't be too hard.

I played some last night like 3 levels, pissed me off because right at the beginning of a few bosses the guy I was playing with quit on me and I had to start the level over.

How in the heck do you get an A ranking? The highest I got was C and my average is F.

I paid 20 bucks for it, It will end up sitting on the shelf once I beat the co-op modes...I still dont know how to get an A ranking, I am sure it is a pain so I dont even care...I definately cannot see any replay value because even online it isnt that fun....I just wish I could sell it and get what I paid out of it...

Deep blue is such a pain to control underwater, it kills me to control him...I about threw my controller at the TV when I fought Corralis because of how crappy it was...I dont have a problem with the camera angles but the controls underwater are horrible...

I have it, my little sister beat it. I plan to beat it some day, but it's low on my list right now. I don't have a lot of time to play and I'm trying to get through each game I have in a row.

It's decent, it is like a beat-em up meets Banjo Kazooie type deal...

I had fun with it and it is a pretty good game, I dont want it to sound like I am crapping over it because it is pretty good overall game and the visuals are pretty awesome.

My only bashing for the title is that I beat it in 10 hours in less than a week and have nothing else to do with it...

for $20, everyone that doesn't have it should definitely pick it up. people complain it's short, but at around 10 hours long, it's not too short and doesn't drag on and on like most games.
also, the graphics in kameo are among the best! along with the superb soundtrack, you can tell Rare put a lot of effort into this.
every action-adventure fan should have this title :)

I was so impressed with the visuals and their wasnt any slowdowns...This could be perhaps one of the top 3 best looking 360 games...

Action/Adventure games definately can get dragged on for to long. But I guess it is better to be left with feeling the need of wanting more than being bored with it...

Call of Duty 2 is one awesome game but jesus that game is incredibly long, their was times when I kept asking myself is this the end and is it over yet....The ending was quite the let down it comes out of down where...But I thanked god for it being over lol..

I had to reverse the joystick controls when playing as Deep Blue underwater. Up is down and down is up, but after I did that everything was OK

So for everyone that beat this game single player how in the f**k do you get past that iron jaw guy at the end of the game? I just got all the sprites and went to the fortress. There is another one of those big green guys that you have punch in the jaw with Pummel Weed then switch to Chila and ice pick him in the jaw. The problem is that he comes out of his little knock out state WAY too fast! You can only transform to one of the other guys when there isn't an X over them. I transform to Chila instantly when he is available and pull the trigger for aim. **** by the time I just blindly let lose with an ice pick the guy has been conscious for seconds. No F***king way! I thought RAAM was hard on Insane but that's nothing compared to this guy. I wish there was a macro button for this. If this was a PC game there would be one. The water level and this guy pretty much ruin the game. It could have been great, but now it's just a worthless pile of cr@p.

Making a game that is incredibly difficult is just a sign of a poor programmer. Instead of making content they puss out and just make it impossible to get past. Wow look this game is 50 hours long. Too bad 45 of those hours are spent on 1 level boss. Yeah that's quality game play.

Get a strategy guy or let my son explain how he got past it. If my son can beat at 7 then I can't agree with the poor programmer comment.

I just restarted playing it yesterday. I dont remember the part your talking about but it seems like it took me only a weekend to beat it last time so I may be able to help in a couple of days.

Seems like there were little tricks to all these things and once you got them it wasnt so bad. Although, in some situations different strategies work for different people such as the final boss. I remember beating him by using Major Ruin as my primary but when I read the Gamespot forums and walkthroughs afterwards, to see what others did, I found they said the best way was to use other guys

So maybe those walkthoughs would help you 3 can be found here:

Ha! I thought I was the only one who couldn't get passed the "punch-in-the-jaw" guy. As you, I was able to stun him, tried every elemental to knock some points off his life (was sure it was Chilla though), but to no avail. I gave up after multiple attempts and moved on to GRAW, so not a huge letdown. Is there a trick or do I just suck? Maybe I should play co-op to beat the guy (1 to stun and the other to nail him w/ some ice spears).

The water levels didn't bother me as much as others. It was a little frustrating to control, but not enough to quit.

BTW, how the heck do you use the fruit-finder newsletters? I'd always buy the darn thing and nothing'd happen.

I had to go online to look for the solution when I ran into this guy too. You need to use the sprite you just got, the ant guy with fire bombs. One of his fire bomb attacks leaves the iron jaw enemy vulnerable for a LOT longer than from the Pummel Weed upper cut. Sorry I can't remember the name of the attack, but it's been a little while since I played, beat, and sold this game. I had some occasional frustrations, but overall a very fun game.

I have this game and beat it. I thought it was very nicely made and I enjoyed playing it. This & PGR3 were my first experiences with HD gaming :) Now, I only plan to play and beat it over Live with my younger cousins (they are 10 and 12). I get a kick out of playing fun games that are family safe with them :)

haha I had played pretty much up till the last battle then got distracted. A month later when I got Dish HD I watched the gameplay network and they have a show where all they do is play through games and edit it down to 2-4 hours of footage. I caught the end and watched the entire last hour of gameplay. I promptly packed my copy up and sold it. Still a solid title.

I broke down and looked at a walk through on line. You have to use Thermite's mortor round to knock him out which stuns him for a very long time. Then Chila with the ice pick. Funny thing with Chila, if you can get off a bunch of shots it will put everyone else in slow motion (Major Ruin can do the same thing) and you can finish him off in almost one go.

I just finished the game and I'm sure there is a better way to beat the last guy, but I just slugged it out.

The second to last major boss the giant metal troll with the hammer was not very obvious what combination of warriors to pick. I had to look online to figure it out.

Hmmmm...it's been more than a year since I played this, but I don't remember the last boss being too bad. Now that damned water boss where you had to use Deep Blue was a pain in my ass. I was cursing and wanted to throw my controller at the TV. It seems like it took a few hours for me to beat that one.

While we're are reflecting back on hard/frustrating moments, for me was the darn ice slide. Took me eons to get down the ice slide without falling off.

Yeah, the underwater octopus w/ the white globes was a pain too. Under pressure, you wanted to go left and it went right, up but it went down.

At times frustrating, but a fun, nice looking game.

steve68

Yes the ice slide was near controller smashing difficulty. Ironically there was an easy way that didn't envolve that ice slide. Hopefully if you did the long ice slide you got a huge bonus. I wondered around that level and stumbled upon some of those blue guys with the big mouths and long tongues and used the sticky guy to move up to a pool area that had a very short ice slide. It went to the same pool that you end up at from the really long ice slide. The water boss was bad too.

I think the problem is that they changed the control setup. Like in COD or any other FSP game the left stick makes you move forward and backward and side to side and the right stick makes you look around. I think it's reversed in Kameo or at least it was when you are underwater with that squid guy. Also they change it up with Thermite. When you switch to Mortor mode (left trigger) his controls INSTANTLY CHANGE! Someone deserves a good old fashion ass whipping for that one.

Got it used, played 3/4 of it (or maybe 9/10) and returned it.

Too disney like, and annoying as hell that you have the same battle scenes for all the shadow guys, and the same cutscene that you could not skip.

The water guy was annoying until I figured that I could hover over the electrified water and last a lot longer, and i had to look online to avoid the Ice-Slide annoyance.

The mortar bomb stun would have been a good thing to know, but I pummeled him fast enough. The eyeball was annoying as hell to bump off the edge, and the save system was your typical console crap (rather than just using the HD!!!).

I think it is a game I would recommend to the 10-16 year old crowd, but might be too much for younger (w/o supervision) and it is just too claymation looking for most people over that...

Also, why didn't they just make it so that you could chose a character by hitting the select and moving the stick to them inthe first place? Having the buttons only available to switch character (and not assign different moves like block, jump, hit and run) was annoying!!!!!

Ah well. Looking for something better though....

Saying this game is typically for the younger crowd is why this game i shunned...The title is solid for all ages really. Its a fun game that can be picked up and played...I loved the fighting system in it personally.

Good god I forgot how annoying the controls could be in certain sections of this game. Beat the water guy and got chilla but my controller and TV just barely survived.

Anyone else think the game became a little too easy when you found Thermite? Aside from getting "stuck" on occasion, was able to more or less blow away everything w/ Thermite (with upgraded abilities). Made the end slightly anti-climactic. Not complaining, as I wanted to move on to my next 360 game anyway, but just a while-watching-March-Madness observation.

I really liked the ending. At various times as I played I questioned why I actually liked the game. There were fun parts but other frustrating parts with frustrating controls that I did not have that much fun playing. But everything after beating eyeball guy where you get snare I thought was real fun. Maybe it was fun because the frustration level was lower due to Thermite. You couldnt win just using him but he really did help a ton and some of the sections would have been harder without him. I am also a big snare fan so it was fun to have him again.

The first time I beat the game I didnt really use Thermite, dont know why maybe I didnt have enough fruit to upgrade him.... I just remember beating Thron with Rubble, deep blue and 40 below with a touch of Chilla. This time it was Thermite, Deep blue and Rubble with a little Chilla thrown in.
