I actually bought the Buffalo LINKTHEATER (with upgraded FW 13-82-060509-03-LTI-254-000.bin (EU PAL)) and also own the TERASTATION PRO (not the HOME version).

I am very happy about the LINKTHEATER hardware. Works great on plasma screen, good sound quality, nice features ... but one thing I can´t get fixed ...

I am not able to connect LINKTHEATER with TERASTATION PRO.

Is this possible anyway ... and if not, why (the hack ) that works with TERASTATION HOME (wich is also a NAS). I want to have a system without any PC (as Server) in between.

There is no possibility to activate PCAST on TERASTATION PRO ... and I guess that´s my problem. Any solutions (Firmware hack, upgrade ??) ...

Can BRIANV or anybody else help me ...

Unfortunatley the Home Server edition of the Terrastation is the only one with a media stream server built in. Probably why it's the most expensive.

The server it does have though, is a poor offering compared to the PC server software. All categories in one folder, just a file extension filter, no search...
