Can any one help me find an on line or PDF version of the owners manual for the
Toshiba 42HL196? It's not listed on the Toshiba US web page, or at least I can't find it.

I emailed Toshiba Customer Support <mailto:Customer_Support@tacp.com> Friday to ask for a PDF of the 42HL196 manual and they got back to me today.

Their response was:

I recommend contacting our Customer Solutions Department directly for assistance with your issue.

Their number is 1-800-631-3811 and they are available Mon-Fri, 8AM to 7PM Central time.


I'll be calling Tuesday.

They just got back to me to. They gave me a link that didn't work and said if I couldn't find it there I could buy one and gave me another link. I emailed them back saying I just wanted to read the manual before my set arrives on Friday.

I got TV so I have the 3 manuals. One is for hook up, one for TV Guide thing that only seems to work with the Cox HD box, and the big one is for the set. Not much that isn't self explainitory but your pretty lost with out the remote. It has a part number on it "Toshiba CT-90255"

I would have scanned it for you but right now my home is trashed, we had a brake in 3 days ago.

Look in the "What's Included" box to down load the manual. It's to bad that a third party has to post these. I have e-mailed Toshiba twice and each time their response was: Not available at this time. Their support "sucks big time". Makes me wonder if I should buy their products. :mad:

Since I spent a few days looking for a downloadable version of the pdf that wasn't a scanned image of the user manual, I was going to post them here. However, this dumb ass website won't let me until I've posted at least 5 times. So for anyone that might have been assisted by this post, sorry.
