I emailed them and got a response on the 14th of August but still waiting for the poster...I hope that it does arrive.

I have a large poster of the original photgraph that Maxell used for their ads. It's just the guy, his TV, the lamp, and don't forget that martini about to fall over. It's a great shot...Got it at a poster store in town.

Ive always wanted one of these. this is great. I actually read this post at 345am, dont ask, and felt froggy enough to call and believe it or not someone picked up and said Maxell how can I direct your call. AWESOME.

I informed him that I was interested in the Blown Away poster and he said, "yup we are giving those away right now, would you like one?" Why Yes sir dont mind if I do. He took down my info and said they'd send one out.

I actually had an original of these hanging on my bedroom wall (in the basement - don't ask and don't call me "Ruprict the monkey boy,") 30 years ago. I would say that was advertising money well spent by Maxell way back when!

They were nice enough to reply to my email and send me a poster too. That's customer service!

I emailed Maxwell a week ago and got yesterday.....amaing how fast this took...

I wonder if they forgot to mail mine? It's been a few weeks. :(

I ordered mine last Friday (the 13th) and got it today. Not counting the weekend, it took 4 days. I was surprised to see UPS delivering it.

Got mine the other day. One end of the tube was crunched just a little. Small wrinkles in the poster across the bottom. It was free -- I can live with it. Now to get a cheap frame for it somewhere...

Got mine yesterday finally. The middle of the tube was smashed with a nice boot print on it. I'm ironing out the creases and wrinkles now. Still have to love free stuff. I still, however, hate UPS with a passion!

FYI for folks in Canada .... maxell.ca is being just as generous as the US office and best part is they don't ship by UPS, but rather use CanadaPost and my poster arrived in 2 days after sending the request! Way to go Maxell!
