I just noticed that the Hong Kong DVD of Takashi Miike's One Missed Call has a DTS-ES 96/24 6.1 Discrete audio track.
My receiver indeed recognizes it as DTS 96/24 ES. The Dolby EX track sounds almost literally non-existent in comparsion.
This is the only DVD I've ever seen to feature such audio, anyone know of any other DVDs that have it? Or is this one-of-a-kind?

I don't know any US reg. 1 titles that utilizes it.
However the original masters are hardly ever 24/96 themselves anyway, so it would had to be upconverted, not to mention 24/96 in the lossy codec "world" is quiet an oximoron.
No doubt DTS uses some of the best marketing people of the world. :)

For Films that I own:
Isabella DTS 96/24
The Banquet DTS 96/24
Chinese Tall Story Advent Garde Edition DTS 96/24
A version of Stargate was released with a DTS-ES track. I don't know if it used 96/24, but I'll pick it up tomorrow.

Usually when one of these "DTS 24/96 film" threads comes up....I hear about 'Tomb Raider'. I think it was the region 3 edition. Dont quote me on that but that was the movie brought up many a times...

I have a Hong Kong release of the musical Perhaps Love that boasts of its DTS 96/24 track.

Even if you're a marginal fan the Queen :Greatest Video Hits vol 1 and (especially) 2 with DTS 96/24 are available at any best buy. It's so strong(DTS) that down -10 db from ref is screamingly loud. A taste of our lossless future perhaps
Peter Gabriel's "PLAY: The Videos" (Region 1, 2004) has a DTS 96/24 soundtrack and sounds pretty nifty.

I just watched Neil Young's "Greendale" last night. It has a DTS 96/24 audio track, plus standard DD 5.1 and PCM 2.0. The DTS has some NICE LFE, which really gets the groove going on some of the songs.
