It's really impossible to speculate what would happen scientifically in a scientifically-impossible scenario, even basic things like how he is able to easily move around in and displace gas (like the various gasses that surround everything - Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, nitrogen etc.) if their molecules are locked in non-motion,

My assumption would be that while he stands outside the normal flow of time, anything he comes in contact with (air molecules, etc.) join him in that space and become active with him. However, using this logic that martini glass was a screw up, because his act of touching it would restore the drink molecules to their "liquid" state and they'd spill all over the place.

You guys are getting way to technical, It is a super hero show where reality is stretch to a limit beyond our imagination. These powers may never happen in human existance. However you guys are talking about a drink when someone is able to freeze time but a girl regenerating her whole body in seconds is not even discussed for more than half a page. Why are her powers more acceptable than his? Come on she walked out of an autopsy after a tree limb was removed.

Don't get me wrong I love reading this stuff, you all make it interesting. Just curious that is all.

I have to ask were you recording the right channel?
second which I did find to be a problem on many TV's the processor didn't recognize the HD on first try if you change the channel then go back to the HD channels, then you get the HD is all its glory. Then there could be many more reasons which I don'y want oto get into. Is NBC in HD now?

The scars a for season 2 or 3 thing like you said. I don't know how when or why I just have the feeling that will be a clifhanger for the season finale.

I found out what it was. Read it on the HDTV OK website. KFOR (NBC) is having an issue with hardware. I should be seeing Heroes in HD next week.

Yeah, I think he has a mental block as far as that is concerned. Peter was able to use his ability without being on H. So let's hope they wean him off it. Or at least he becomes more entertaining and less grumpy while he's on it :-)

Who knows...Hiro had a LONG ponytail when he visited Peter. It could be years in the future as far as the timeline goes. Then again, he mentioned how different he looked without his scar...so is it possible that by the time they first meet he will already have been hurt? Dunno.

Hiro [Future Hiro] mentioned a rift in the beginning while on the subway, that's an inter-dimensional rift I think.... was kind of talked about earlier in the thread.

The genius boy's father is a hero most likely (even though he is sure of what he's doing right now despite doing what seems very villainish,) despite not really seeming like it at the moment... it's more like his mother is the real anti hero (think the Punisher.)


The acting seemed to translate poorly at some points, at least to me, but luckily the writing is still in tact (and going strong.) That [acting] should get better as the actors get more comfortable in their roles, as long as the writing is the strong point the audience should be able to weed out the bad ones. Hopefully more people watch and post about the show given all the other terrible crap on TV today.

Episode 5 wasn't that good for me. I guess it's just going to be damn near impossible to top the first 4. All that incredible setup and building will inevitably slow down sooner or later into a formula pattern. A just average episode was bound to happen I guess. Blah. Anyway, how did the a-hole brother know how to fly like that? Must've been practicing for a while to get all the way to a Superman-like level. I just didn't buy it for some reason. There should be a harder learning curve for these abilities.

This is one of the very few shows these days that leave you wanting more at the end, rather than being a chore to watch.

I thought that since Nathan Petrelli has a fairly severe scar on his left cheek and chin, and Hiro has already met Nathan at the diner in the desert...that when he meets Peter Petrelli on the subway maybe he mistakes Peter for Nathan and makes the comment about not having the scar.

No, I don't think so. In the future, Hiro would know both of those guys well since they, you know, fight evildoers together. He's come back in time to warn Peter, not Nathan. The only conclusion I could come up with is that Peter gets a facial scar during some future battle, probably with Hiro by his side.

Too technical after 2 pages of discussing Hiro's ability to speak english? He did have more of an accent this round.

I think Claire has a super ability to heal quickly, but there are species that exist that can grow back arms, legs, etc. so it's not as far fetched. I think it is something that could possibly happen. Nikki getting super human strength, predicting / painting the future is also something that can happen, but the other super powers are far fetched - just good entertainment. And it's all in fun. If you don't have an imagination, your boring. It's just interesting to analyze.

Unless he only cleaned out the bad stuff. It's interesting he's now using his ability to get along "famously" with his wife. Before the "brain drain" he was kind of an a**. Maybe "Bad Dad" is really a Clint Eastwood, not Goldfinger, and practices "tough love".

I don't think Nathan's superman move was that far fetched. If these abilities come from the genetic level, it's not so far fetched to believe he could fly away like that. The fight or flight (literally in this case) response happens at an almost instictual level. Once he is away from the danger, he has calm down shown by his landing.

It's interesting to me how with all of these heroes their abilities relate to their lives...

Niki the single mom torn between being a good mom and a super hot wild woman.
Hiro obsessed with scifi and comic books being able to control time and space and be a super hero
The corrupt politican able to fly away from his troubles.
His brother trying to help one becomes able to help many.
The policeman able to solve crimes and finally satisfy his wife by reading minds.
The artist not being able to live in the present can only see the future.
Claire not harmed by her apparent violent lifstyle.

He could speak absolutely no English up to this episode (not to the cops in NY, not to the artist, nobody) and was completely dependent on his buddy for communication with Americans. But he's now able to have a short conversation with Nathan! I kind of jokingly suggested after the last episode that maybe one of his superpowers is language skill. Now, it looks as though that may not be that much of a stretch.

It will be interesting to see what happens in the future with Micah. The new online comic gives a back story to DL.

Honestly, I can overlook all the flaws and plot-holes in this show because the plot and writing are so incredibly great...The mythology is already deep in this show (even after 5 episodes).

did you check the SD channel? If HD was a broadcasting(hardware) issue. You might have gotten a better picture from your SD braodcast of Heroes.

I have to say, I'm really enjoying this show and do like picking up little things I missed (or what people are speculating) from this thread. Yeah, I noticed this too. It added to the akwardness of the episode.

well his friend told him on the flight that he can teach him some english and how to pronounce the words better. Then they had a 10-12 hr flight from Japan to LA and then the drive from LA to Las vegas. Plus the time he spents in night school when he goes back in time during the flight.

Wait neuner, you totally misunderstood my point. The english part was 4 pages long and I enjoyed that, I wasn't pointing out the english at all. (I am sorry if my Japanese to english dictionary isn't as good as Hiro's.) My issue that I was pointing out is the technical and scientific post some people got into about his powers and the water freezing, The smoke in the air, molecules, atoms and others things(all very interesting theories) while they let the teenage girl get away with immediate healling(which is the coolest power in my view)with no questions asked, if you looked back the biggest question was, Was that a chicken (bird)foot or branch in her neck? No one went any deeper as they do with Hiro.

Sorry dude, wasn't trying to be rude. Didn't mean it that way. Viewers of this show have to have a little bit of 'nerd' in them. This also means analyzing stupid crap about a TV show. Now I'm an engineer and definitely a Nerd, so I lean towards the physics portion, while others will pick apart other aspects. What I meant to get at was that we will go on and on for pages about one of these aspects, but as soon as someone brings up something different, it gets slammed. We need to be open to everyones views and aspects of enjoyment, even if it's comparing Ali Larter to someone who looks nothing like her ;)


I don't think the number of individuals with power will ever stop. Looking at the map on the wall, there were many profiles pinned all over the world. I think the elimination (painter guy) and intro of new characters will keep the plot rolling.

I was wondering the same thing, but there was something that he said about trust after viewing the stolen video tape that made me initially think he was a bad guy. Don't remember what it was, I'll have to go back & see. Maybe I took it the wrong way.

Maybe Claire's ability sort of projects itself to anyone around her, the QB still being alive is pretty miraculous, maybe her healing powers sort of extend around her somewhat. Save the cheerleader, save the world.

It's just interesting to analyze. You can analyze someone's fictional writings all day long and in the end you can "prove" something. Guess what though ?? The author can write anything they want in the next chapter and then you're "wrong". This show is 3% reality and 97% fiction. There's no right or wrong.

Everyone seemed to forget how much of an a-hole Nathan was to his brother in all the previous episodes. Coupled with the fact he has one of the coolest powers (looked rediculous flying off like that though) and got to be pounced on by alter-Nikki all night makes him pretty unlikable and uninteresting IMO. "Nit-picking" is necessary for a show like this. Some clues can only be derived by speculating what is a mistake, and what is intentional. Once it's determined to be a mistake though, you're right - it's best to let it drop and enjoy the ride. But sometimes the nit-picking actually serves to reveal some clues.

I'm still wondering how he broke the soundbarrier...endured incredible G-forces on his body, endured phenomenal high-speed wind pressure, unbearable friction against the air, and not only was he able to keep his pants on in flight but prevent them from burning up entirely...and then said 'ouch' when he landed barefoot on the gravel...what the?!?

Speaking of Claire's mysterious dad, he sure was smooth kidnapping Nathan. He probably didn't expect that he could launch off like a rocket but it seemed pretty inept that he didn't take the precautions of at least immobilizing and then taking him to a secret location like he did with Matt the cop.

Eventually, I think Nathan is going to surprise a lot of people that find him to be an *******. It appears Nathan has been aware of his powers for awhile and has had a difficult time accepting his situation. He's not willing to come out of the closet, so to speak. But his interaction with Hiro last night seemed like a bit of an ice-breaker to me. He didn't run away from him or dismiss him as a whack job (as he did earlier with Mohindar). Nathan's going to have a breakthrough soon - IMO. :D

You can tell he loves his brother, he saved his life. But little brother is an embarassment to a political candidate. Man Nurse, effeminate, and oh yeah, talks about flying all the time. Jumped off a building in broad daylight to prove it. Practices at the kids playground.

It was uncool of him to throw him so publicly under the bus, but that way he took that weapon away from his opponents to use against him.

At least he's not a carbon copy cutout of the average superhero. He has flaws. Let's hope he does some good in spite of those flaws.

That was very cool, and this comment doesn't have anything to do with the actual presentation, but what would have given it even more impact would be if NBC hadn't been running it in their promos all week. We all knew it was going to happen, and for me anyway, it detracted from the impact of the scene. I understand NBC needs to draw viewers in to watch the show, and that sort of promo would do it, but it would have been nice to be completely surprised by it. What previews? what commercials? Ohhhh.... that's those thing that hit the editing room floor along with the rest of the commercials when I watch NBC HD programming. One of the many reasons I just watch the show itself.

I think the season will focus on the bomb in new york but it will be revealed that it isn't the true threat and just a training mission for what is to come. I think the eclips picture and openening scene will have something to do with the true threat that will be revealed after the bomb is taken care of.

I also think that the child of the two mutants will end up having some super powerful ability maybe mental or physical or both. I do think that these genetically mutated people are supposed to be unkowingly drawn together for some reason which explains the way they interact so often and even date or have children.

I don't think the cheerleaders father will turn out to be evil.. maybe self serving or a little cold but not evil. I think they are setting him up to look evil to do a bait and switch when the real evil is revealed.

I think the eclipse is only significant as the event that coincided with them starting to realize their powers or when they started trying to come together.

I'm still not convinced that the cheerleader's dad is a "good guy." All he said to her to console her was "no one will remember a thing" (paraphrased). Part of me thought that might mean he'd kill the QB, but mostly I expected what eventually happened...he got the QB's memory wiped.

Think about it, if he genuinely cared for his daughter, he would've been more inclined to actually hurt the QB as revenge...not the self-serving act of wiping his memory to protect his "secret" about his daughter.

The "dad" being a good guy in the end will remain a switcheroo for me if it happens.

That's exactly what I am doing now. Started two months ago with the miniseries, and am now half way through season 2. Battlestar Galactica is, without a doubt, the best show on tv right now. My wife is as into it as I am, and she doesn't particularly like normal scifi. But while the scifi is an important part of the show, it is almost secondary to the personal relationships, story and drama.

But to tie this back to Heroes, I think Heroes ranks up there as well. I have been a little disappointed by the uneven writing and acting, but I think it is getting better. Hopefully, as time goes on, it will get even better as they work out the kinks.

I'm hoping not to derail the thread either, but I've been doing pretty much the same thing as you as well and really enjoying BSG so far (I'm a few episodes into 2.5 right now). The cliffhanger between seasons 2.0 and 2.5 was about as good as it gets. I just hate that there's really no place for folks like you and me to talk about the show without being spoiled by the watchers of the current season. I had the part about admiral kane completely ruined for me just that way. I avoid all the BSG threads now for that reason.

Anyway, no way that Heroes currently compares with BSG (or Lost), but BSG was kinda awkward at the beginning too. It took a long time to catch it's stride for me, mostly towards the ending of Season 1. I currently really enjoy Heroes, but it's got some room for improvement...maybe we'll see a similar progression here too.

Nathan's flying ability seems to be similar to another X-Men character, Cannonball. He projects a force field around himself when he flies. This would allow Nathan to retain his pajamas, as well as hair, skin, etc. But when he landed, the force field shut off, so he hurt his feet sliding across the gravel parking lot.

I think Dad hit on the perfect solution. He couldn't kill the QB; it'd just make his daughter feel really guilty. There was no point in beating the guy up any more. So hello, Mr White-Out.

I think Daddy will turn out to be a less touchy feely, more Machiavellian version of Prof. Xavier. Right now, he's just trying to identify the specials and figure out what their capabilities are. The cloak and dagger stuff is because he doesn't know yet if somebody will turn out to be a goodie or baddie.

I think so far, the only bad guy for sure is Sylar. The others are either good or lean that way. Somebody like Nathan will probably join force with the good guys, even if he's never officially a member of the club (think Spike on Buffy).

I beg to differ. About the bomb. While I agree the Bomb is the smaller of a much bigger threat. I think the bomb issue will be answered by the end of November sweeps period. The writier used that date for a reason in the future sceens with Hiro. On the last episode of the sweeps probably Nov 20 which might be the last one till jan, depending on NBC scheduling we will find out that much bigger threat.

I am also doing that. Got the miniseries, season 1 and some of season 2 on DVDs, and I have been tivo'ing all the rest of season 2, and season 3. I am at the point now where I can just start watching all the episodes we have tivo'd (although we did it for one episode, and it drove my wife crazy having to bleep past the commercials, instead of having the DVD just go to the next part).

Yep, Lost has, errm "lost it". I'm at the same point with Lost where I was with Alias many a moon ago (part way through season 3) thinking that the show is going nowhere in particular.

I haven't given up on LOST, I'm still in for the duration. Alias 'lost' me when the did ANOTHER reboot, putting all the SD6 people back in the same office and just getting along despite all the loved ones everyone had lost in that fight. Right.

Heroes is definitely a must see now, along with LOST and BSG. Dexter as well.

Something I've been wondering about for a few days - there seems to be a "hero and partner" theme in the show, in addition to the larger "special powers people becoming connected and working together" theme that is slowly developing. There's (my favorites) Hiro and Ando, Peter and Nathan, Niki and Micah (maybe?), Claire and her school friend, Matt and his wife (hmmm, not sure), Mohinder and ... ok, maybe I'm stretching. Anyway, I'm reminded of the movie "Sky High", where all of the students are divided into "Heroes" and "Sidekicks".

Might be nothing, yet it might turn out to be a major theme that is developed as the series progresses - possibly not as a hero and sidekick thing - maybe some of the "partners" end up going to the dark side (or are already there).

I'm definitely hooked on the series - using too many brain cycles on idle speculation. :)

There's (my favorites) Hiro and Ando, Peter and Nathan, Niki and Micah (maybe?), Claire and her school friend, Matt and his wife (hmmm, not sure), Mohinder and ... ok, maybe I'm stretching. Anyway, I'm reminded of the movie "Sky High", where all of the students are divided into "Heroes" and "Sidekicks".

Might be nothing, yet it might turn out to be a major theme that is developed as the series progresses - possibly not as a hero and sidekick thing - maybe some of the "partners" end up going to the dark side (or are already there).

I'm definitely hooked on the series - using too many brain cycles on idle speculation. :)

I think Dad hit on the perfect solution. He couldn't kill the QB; it'd just make his daughter feel really guilty. There was no point in beating the guy up any more. So hello, Mr White-Out.

I think Daddy will turn out to be a less touchy feely, more Machiavellian version of Prof. Xavier. Right now, he's just trying to identify the specials and figure out what their capabilities are. The cloak and dagger stuff is because he doesn't know yet if somebody will turn out to be a goodie or baddie.

I think so far, the only bad guy for sure is Sylar. The others are either good or lean that way. Somebody like Nathan will probably join force with the good guys, even if he's never officially a member of the club (think Spike on Buffy).

I wouldn't worry about this show when it has such "better as expected ratings" "buzz worthy show of the year". Once a show gets it's full season order it is a good sign that the second season is coming, (not every time but it happens more then it doesn't happen) But even then this show has shown no signs of slowing down anytime soon. This is far from a bubble show that will be wondering till the last week of May to know their fate. It is a comfort to know so early but it just a formality at this point. It is wining it's time slot and Mondays show mgiht break the overall top 20.Dpends on baseball which should take 3 of the spots. Which is a huge accomplishment with over 100 shows being monitored on Prime time.

I'd wait to see how it does against 24 before getting too comfortable about renewal.

I'm guessing NBC will change Heroes timeslot when 24 comes back as to not directly try and compete. Heroes is great but Jack Bauer is king.

Never thought that would happen with me either, but on Thursday's I've got Survivor, Smallville, and the fiance has Ugly Betty. Luckily with the Dish 622, I can record Smallville OTA (they don't have the CW HD Local anyway) and record the other 2 with the sat tuners. We can record the 3 and watch a 4th recorded, which happens almost weekly (we catch up with CSI NY from Wed)

24 became way too predictable and corny. As with you, I lost interest a while back. Keep Heroes coming.

Yes. It's a dual tuner DVR; each tuner can tune to a different station. It buffers ahead a couple of seconds which allows this "magic" to happen, as well as being able to watch a third, previously recorded program all at the same time using only one hard drive. Pretty slick, huh?

There will not be any change is the schedule, POST #914. There I said it and will stand by that statement. We have proved already this season that 2 shows can keep their ratings if hey face direct competition from another Hit show. Greys and CSI averaging over 20 mil per. Sure CSI will lose it's title (highest rated scripted show)this year but it is still #2 or #3 per week. By that the 30 mil that watch these 2 shows is nothing for a Monday night. People will still come to watch both.

The question is mainly on all of us, which one is more important for the first view? I think we have another 5 or 6 new episodes before 24 premieres then we can decide if this show is more of a must see then 24 is.

I know it's been said in this thread, but I feel the need to stress how absurd the cheezy voiceovered recap is at the begining of the show. This week was the first time that I had a chance to watch it live, and couldn't FF through the recap...My wife and I just sat there stunned at how bad it was.

Other than that...What a fun show! I thought the whole point of Hiro's friend being a fan of Nikki's was to get Hiro and Nikki together since Hiro seems to be the most out of the closet with his power, and Nikki doesn't even realize that she has a power yet. Since her and Hiro don't seem to have any connection, I now think that she will surely go to the dark side, maybe even use Hiro's friend as bait.

My friend saw the 24 preview and was gushing about it and saying"I can't wait" "Looks great" Then I asked him the dreaded question, which show will you be watching when 24 comes out? his answer, "NO NO, this can't be" Dam it" ok I cleaned up what he said. Thanks for the reply I will have to flip a coin as to which show to watch first, maybe change it up each week. I think if they did change the schedule for heroes to a different night I would be set. Tuesday would be great as there isn't anything on that night I watch. Monday - 24, Tuesday - Heroes, Wed. - Lost, Thur.- Smallville. Perfect lineup right there.

If you tell the story well enough, we'll GET that it's about guilt, or redemption, etc. But they spell it out twice just to make sure we're paying attention.

WOW, I was trying not to age myself by not mentioning shows I was referring to but WOW now you did it. I remember the days at my fathers apt watching saturday morning cartoons. Laying on the bed, tummy down, hands under chin swinging feet, then step mom yelling for my father to make us stop kicking the walls. SEE WHAT YOU STARTED!!!!! LOL I am playing I am not yelling. I'm talking like they need to start battling evil and teaming up to do so, the show is getting boring, ok Nathan flew (and it was strange) but is it just me or does it seem this show spends a lot of time spinning it's wheels. I know it's only been 5 episodes but we'd better start seeing some real action. Too much background building. I really think they chose the wrong way to tell the story, i'd prefer flashbacks to learn about each character (ala Lost) rather than go through the mediocre path of the *heroes* coming together!

abricko, you mentioned "Lost" like flashbacks in your post, so I'm assuming that you watch Lost. If so, then have you not learned from that show, that the journey can be as interesting as the destination. I mean, sure, I'm ready to see some real action scenes in "Heroes" as well, but the set up so far has been great, IMO.

There have been a lot of folks comparing Heroes to X-Men (I did it myself not far back in the thread, and I'm going to did it again here) but some of my favorite issues of X-Men over the years have been the occasional issues where the team is just sitting around the mansion, talking, eating a meal, maybe playing a game of softball. No villians show up, it's just a time for great character development. An action series doesn't have to be all action, as long as the slower parts can still hold your attention and develop the characters well. I think that so far Heroes has been paced pretty well.

Actually, I think House is moving to 9PM on Tuesday on FOX. So I dont think they will move it against that...Most likely to Wednesday at 8PM since the 2 shows at 8 on NBC are moving or have been canceled.

Don't forget Joe, NBC isn't going to put scripted shows in that hour anymore, so a move to any night at 8 is out of the question.

With regards to the VO's, I think they are needed for new viewers just picking up the show or viewers that don't have DVR's and may have missed an episode. I don't have a problem with them at all. In fact, I think they help gain viewership and shows only survive if they have viewers. So, I'm okay with them.

I also believe they help with the "comic book" feel.

The bookend narration is okay, it does give it a comic book feel, I was talking about the voice over the recap before the show starts. Like Lumpy said, "Previously on..." and then just show recaps would be great to catch people up. It's the guy that talks during the recap and manages in 30 seconds to dumb down the plot and make everything that happens during the show seem insignificant.

But to move on... I think the pacing is very satisfying. I was floored when Peter answered the phone and told Hiro that he had a message for him. I really thought that they would drag it out and it would take weeks for that cliffhanger from last week to play out. Here they did it in one episode!

In the winter months, when colds are going around, within the first hour of waking up, he will have his cleansing sneeze. But we have to be prepared for it. It is, after all, quite disgusting, but pretty useful for a 2 year old.

Its the motorola 3412 unit and its pretty loud. I have not held up the SPL to it yet, but it makes a very definite data crunching sound all the time kind of like an older computer sounds when a disc drive is working. Way too distracting, and my rack is built into the wall so relocating it is not an option. Oh well.

Never claimed it was a new convention, just that it seemed to have gained new life recently, starting with DH.

Shows like Heroes and Lost can thank Chris Carter and the X-Files for creating a successful long running series of mythological/sci-fi drama with good production values (excluding the last 2 years or so!).

For these shows, the journey is greater than the destination, discussing the possible outcomes while we're in the dark is often more interesting than the actual conclusion on the show.

Previous information on imdb about the future appearance of DL looks to be correct, so I wouldn't be quick to discount this.

I'm wondering why HRG didn't take Niki out of that bed also when he got Nathan, had Nathan done his job and impregnated Niki? I missed the first part of last weeks episode so I didn't see that scene.

What reason would he have to suspect Niki was special? He had been in NY and probably knew about Nathan's abilities from Dr. Suresh's information, but might not know about her. What reason would he have to suspect Niki was special? He had been in NY and probably knew about Nathan's abilities from Dr. Suresh's information, but might not know about her. What are you talking about? Sure if a book is still boring 1/4 of the way through it yeah I'd stop reading (and heroes has sorta jumped to the end for us with the end of the world foreshadowing). I was trying to illustrate that the show had 5 episodes and was still boring and it felt like nothing major has happened yet.

So then, how come Lost and Prison break didn't really get to a slow down point until midway through their first seasons? I'm hoping Heroes will pick up the pace for a few episodes and we get to see more action (Lost and Prison Break had plenty of action during their initial episodes) I also understand the *building story line* arguments but I say enough already. Hopefully tonight's episode can deliver some exciting stuff. I'll be watching (still) and waiting.

Heroes is in a perfect pace for me right now. A comic book perfect pace.

Amen. Actually, I've never been able to figure out why people who don't want to know anything about an upcoming show bother coming to a forum where the show is being discussed.

There's been an ongoing "debate" in the Lost thread where some people don't even want anyone to discuss what has been shown in a preview.

To me a spoiler has always been positive information gained in advance of a showing, like "Luke, I am your grandmother's son!" leaked before the actual showing of The Umpire Strikes Out.

Speculation, like this may be so and so isn't necessarily a spoiler.

As for links to other sites containing secret information, I am all for personal responsibility. I'm with Iteki..if you don't want to know, don't click.

Iteki, shake and pete, I was just pointing out that it just ruined what he looks like or the actor who will be plaing him. I really don't care. If I really didn't want to know I wouldn't have looked. To the extreme pointed out above about LOST. That is just nit picking to the max. Previews are previews. What are you going to do avoid TV all together? If the show doesn't think that is a spoiler that is fine. "This may be Sylar", might "scream" like you said, but it could as well been a joke also. Other sites claimed this might not be true, but then confirmed it from what I heard. Your star wars exaple was good but dated, imagine if if there was an internet back then. How many millions of fans would have been devestated by finding that info early? but anyway what is done is done.

well guys, any feedack. this was a little slow in my book, more of a filler episode leading into 3-4 episodes of pure action during the sweeps period and a bomb that is suppose to go off in 2 weeks.
