Does anyone know how to update your rosters in Madden 07? I can't seem to find a way of doing this.

It isn't the easiest. The way I did it was to join an online game and it will then prompt you to download the roster. Then quit and save the roster.

I had to restart my franchise because I couldn't figure out how to apply the new roster there though.

Sounds about right.. There doesn't appear to be a way to update rosters without joining an online game.

Wasn't a roster update supposed to be included with the supposed patch from EA? What happened to that?

they're still working on it. it is about as ridiculous a situation there could be. i am very disappointed in the way ea has been dealing with the issues with madden...

I'm more than pissed. After Madden came out EA stated "Madden sold more than 2 million copies (roughly 100 MILLION in revenue) its first week", but has yet to actually fix their damn game.

They need competition so very very bad. Damn you NFL for selling your license. 2K Sports...please make a football game that lets you create/customize every team in the league! Then we can just download all the names/players/teams and play football!

suspicious like what? that's crazy talk. i just think they're too lazy or too content to do anything about the problems. if fatigue was the only problem that would be one thing. but when combined with the HOF bug, the inability to edit your players, camera issues and other nonsense, it really makes me rethink my dedication to this once very proud franchise. hell, they haven't even fixed the more serious current gen problem of how the roster update breaks the game completely...

So if we want roster updates and the rest of it: Instead of having automatic prompt updates like even current gen version of the games have had for the last few years...we HAVE to go into an online game and then I guess abort it and take the disconnect stat hit to get the job done?

well, you won't get the disconnect hit because you don't have to go into the game. just choose quickmatch or whatever its called, and before you get to the team selection it will make you download the update. from then you can quit without actually starting a game

The Madden update will be on XBOX live next week. Unfortunately, we will have to be online to get the roster updates....

I just got Madden for a good price. Since I only have a Silver account, am I seriously SOL for roster updates?

i get sad every time i go to play, Darrent-Williams is still in the game, and of course he was murdered, so everytime i play i think of that.

I wish they could get this right...
