Considering the sequel released months ago, it seems odd that the first film in the series wouldn't be released roughly around the same time. Just release it already so I can ditch my SD copy.

yeah, it's one of my favorites. Seems like there should be no reason not to release the first one. I hope they aren' putting it off until the marketing phase of the 3rd installment.

Maybe they're waiting for the principle actors/crew to get together for Ultimatum and squeeze new Identity interviews out of them at that time.

I could care less about the extras. Just the movie will do. The D-VHS was fantastic, so I'd expect it to look just as good on HD DVD.

I have a feeling it won't come out until BU is about to come out. Sadly, I have a feeling BU will end up being a combo.

Yea, I would like to see this one too, Supremacy wasn't nearly as good to me. I would buy Identity, but Supremacy is one of the few HD DVD's I don't own with no plans to buy.

I do like Supremacy better, I saw Identity...bought/sold the DVD. After seeing it again when it aired ABC-HD, I'm now looking forward to it on HD DVD!

About the only thing based off of the book is the name :D They have changed a lot from the books and yes I can understand why, but I like the books a lot and thought the movies would have been awesome if they would have faithfuly followed the books. Plus Marie was a much better character in the book.

As it is the movies are entertaining. Although BU should be interesting on where the story line goes.

I finally just watched my copy of The Bourne Supremacy-it was pretty good. Now I really want to see the first one. I would rather buy an HD DVD than rent a standard-def disc.

While I had nothing to complain about with the Bourne Supremecy and found it highly entertaining, the Bourne Identity just completley blows it out of the water, its up their in my top 10 list.

I was wondering the EXACT same thing earlier this month. Hopefully we can get an announcement at CES.
