though I wouldn't rule it out eventually.. Any 3rd party game can go multiplatform.

I wouldn't hold my breath for a 360 version.

When is DMC4 coming out?

They still have time to polish the game cause the videos seemed not to have a steady 60 fps frame rate. The real time cinema demo especially seemed framey and didn't really blow me away concerning "next gen" looks.

But it is early and there's plenty of time to tighten it up, which usually means a loss of some the next gen effects if they want a steady 60 fps, especially at 1080p.

Definitely looks like a winner and I really hope they achieve that steady 60 fps, it just strokes something inside my brain that makes me feel all warm and funny, kinda like climbing the rope in gym class.

Looks great. But having to listen to opera may just not be worth it...

I'm sorry but, DMC4 is not a system seller in the least....Halo, GTA, Metal Gear, Final Fantasy, Gears of War, and Oblivion....now those are system sellers.

I'd buy a system for a DMC game over those others you listed any day. That said I do not buy systems for one game.

Seriously??? The only reason I got a 360 preordered was because I believed Oblivion was coming out at launch...A few of my closest friends felt the same way as well. Oblivion is a AAA game. All Elder Scroll games have been great.

First DMC was fun...but not AAA quality. The other DMC's...well, they sucked.

But thats cool if you didn't like Oblivion...Different strokes for different folks

The developers slacked off a bit with DMC2, but the backlash set them straight and DMC3 brought the series back in line. I expect that they will do there best to make DMC4 a AAA game (whatever that means...) after seeing how the fans will get pissed if you don't deliver.

I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but it might be old news anyway, but for those of you with Hong Kong PSN accounts, there are a few DMC4 trailers available to DL. They look pretty sweet even if they're a little old.

Ultimately though, parts 2 and 3 were disappointing.

Part 3 just put in too many combos and moves and ratcheted up the difficulty. Part 1 was simplistic, the graphics were great (at the time) and the gameplay was a lot of fun.

what are you talking about? DMC3 is the best of the series imo. DMC2 sucked, but DMC3 was not bad by any means. i personally liked the fact that there were so many combinations of moves... thats what kept me coming back to the game. i literally spent hundreds of hours on DMC3/DMC3SE learning new combos etc... thats what made it fun. if there were limited moves in DMC3, i would have spent much less time on it.
