I think "triple fantasy" played one night on the "IN HD" Comcast channel. I was up kind of late but really buzzed at the time so I didn't hit the record button. Did anyone else see the commercial for this tonight during Art Man Presents. They said it's available now on Blu-ray and coming soon to HD DVD. After I seen the commercial i went to their site to order it on Blu-ray but it's not on there.

Weird. The mallcom sampler disc plays perfectly fine for me. It's about 38m, two complete sex scenes of HD pornographic glory. According to the A1's readout, it's MPEG2, with LPCM sound. Looks great, though. There is no menu. It just loops back to the beginning when it gets to the end.

I am still running 1.4 since I hadn't gotten around to installing 2.0....I wonder if there's something incompatible with 2.0 since no one with that firmware seems to be able to play it?

The adult 'Pirates' WMVHD plays on the 360 even without the addon. You go to the media blade and I think it's the second media file listed when you choose (current disc) or something like that.

I have it, checked it out after the fall update that enabled streaming wmv files, 1080p output and all that jazz.

Yes it is. They were my fifth and sixth HDNET HD DVDs. They all have excellent picture quality. They are in MPEG2 1080i video and looks superb.

The Architect was supposed to be a day-and-date HD DVD, BD, DVD, Theatrical, & HDNet release but the HD DVD and BD were delayed.

I won the BD version of Triple Fantasy off eBay and have had it for about 3 weeks now. Looks extremely 3d and clean in most of the scenes but a few parts had a lot of noise up-close, with some motion blur.

All in all, my friends were pretty hypnotized by the nice "scenery". I would dare say that this is great hi-def "demo" material for any red-blooded male. wink, wink..

This is an incredible BD movie!! Its actually razor sharp and very vibrant. I don't know what all this topless talk is about. Many take it all off and, well, lets just say that you will have no problem seeing both pairs of lips :p . All the girls on there are attractive, some are nice looking, while others are just Immaculate, radiating beauty in every way.

But the BD version came out in October and it's been saying coming soon on HD DVD since then. WTF???

As far as content...

Does this have the same content as the earlier HD VHS/WMV-HD "B.D. Fantasy" but with additional material or is it completely new?

So I just watched (part of) this last night and thought I'd share my thoughts.

The PQ is just OK - it doesn't have the wow factor of a good HD documentary... but of course the focus is on the women, not the backgrounds etc.

As for the women - I found myself suprisingly disapointed. I actually laughed out loud a few times at the over-the-top fakeness of the women's breasts and silly seductive poses. As I get older I find that two perfectly round balls separated by a half a foot (unless squeezed together) just looks stupid. Anyhow, just thought I'd point it out in case anyone else cares about this; again, I've only seen part of it and you're mileage may vary. :-)

Ya there were some like that. But did you see the blonde on the beach in Hawaii, now she was amazing. But my favorite one was the brunette whose best asset was her ass, now she was just immaculate. Those were the two finest women on there. If you haven't seen them then I recommend that you skip to those parts.

No they are releasing on both formats but have delayed a bunch of titles on HD DVD. All of the HDNet shows are available on HD DVD (Get Out, HDNet World Report, etc.) and the Architect is available on HD DVD (w/TrueHD sound).

The Architech has TrueHD? I think I might have to get that title.

Yup, it has TrueHD. Take it for what it's worth though since it's a dialoge driven movie. Still it's always nice to have lossless sound.

Well they just released Bubble on HD DVD so I think they're slowly getting caught up with their HD DVDs.
