Elgato has a new dual-tuner product out called the EyeTV Diversity:

Hmm.... Definitely looks like an EyeTV 500 replacement is still in the works. Note how it is the "only" product to do PIP and Live at the same time. Hopefully with QAM/ATSC + dual tuner support.

Just got excellent review in MacWorld UK. (http://www.macworld.co.uk/reviews/index.cfm?RSS&reviewID=2134)
Sounds like it hugely improves urban/indoor reception. What I don't understand is:
* Does it come with the pictured antennas?
* Why is it UK (Europe?) only -- where is the US version?

I have this recollection that Elgato is actually a British or EU company, so that might have something to do with it.
I also wonder about the chilling effect of the on-again-off-again broadcast flag here in the US. If I'm a company making a product that might, at any moment, become illegal at the whim the the media shills in Congress I might think twice about investing resources in US products. So in this case Elgato focuses on products using EU standards (DTT or DVB-T) rather than US standards (ATSC/QAM).

Why not just ask Elgato when/if they are coming out with a diversity product for the US?

Elgato is a German company. They bring products to the EU first and typically have a follow up NTSC/ATSC product. So, have faith. I have the eyeTV Hybrid and am satisfied.
