Ok sounds simple I know, but something sure is not right.
Set up as dual display, the pc see the monitor and sets display to 1920x1080.
the probelm is that there is nothing at all on the TV, do I need to set it to digital or anaolog for the TV settings?
THanks

The DVI connection from reading is in fact an analog DVI-I connection. It should be plug and play as all monitors are. Try setting the resolution lower and see what happens, also in my Catalyst settings I can put support for 720p and 1080i I would try to add those if you can.

Actually the DVi connection is abalogue and digital. I used a dual link DVI cable without a problem and was able to get 1080p 1:1 to the Mitsu using both a mac and a WIN PC.
Try swithcing the cable - intitially I had an older cable and found that to tbe the issue. Easy way for this non techie to tell was the "right" DVI cable had more pins

I am thinking of getting this TV!! How does it look when you hook a pc up to it? I want to watch our baseball games on it. Our Plasma Philips 42" can't hook into a pc which sucks luckily this one does.
Thanks for your help.
Mischa.

I got my laptop hooked up with a VGA->DVI-I cable (got it from monoprice today!) to the LT46131 and it looks great. The aspect ratio looked funny until I told the TV to auto-size the picture.
I also used it for the first time to watch Netflix streaming video and The World's Fastest Indian looked as good as any SD DVD I've seen, even Zoomed to fill the screen.
