Hi,
I have a samsung ln4095D. My question is have any of you used the VGA on this particular set for the 360 games and SD DVD upconvert features? I was wondering if on this set it looks washed out compared to component. I was reading that it can vary from set to set and i was wondering specifically about this set. Normally i would just buy the cable but my local stores dont allow returns on cables.
Thanks

component looks better in some cases but for upconvert and hd-dvd, vga is the best... i have the same set and everything..... trust me... hd-dvd looks hot on it

Hate to bump a rather old thread, but do you switch between the two? I think Component looks better for games but HD-DVD definately looks hot in VGA for this set. I just wish VGA didn't look so much less vibrant. ;\

I borrowed my friends MS VGA cable and tried it on my Samsung 4695D and absolutely hated it. I took all advise I've read here in the forums about setting my set up for VGA and I just couldnt bring myself to appreciate it over component. Just my observation.

I have that set and went back and forth between VGA and component. I ended up going with VGA because I have the HD-DVD add on and wanted a progressive scan picture. I'll admit that it does look a little washed out at times, but I also think it looks cleaner.

What tweaking if any have you done to make VGA better for gaming? I want to leave it on VGA but Component just looks so much better on the TV, I figure there must be a configuration to make it look better.
