I'm leaning towards JBL, since I used the old Power Valve series and loved it. I haven't tried the new JBL amps, but they look like they would suit my needs.

Buuut, I'm just looking at other options. I'm not wanting to spend more than about $300 but I want a quality amp. Has anyone used the MA amps?

You could pick up a Directed D2400 or smaller amp for less than $300 on ebay. Great amps.

I vote JBL. I have an older bp1200.1 and love it. I'm also using the new bpx 600.2 and its excellent as well. It's reall hard to beat the JBL amps for price/performance.
