I have a denon dvda/sacd player and the toshiba HD-A1.My receiver is a rotel rsx1056 which only has 1 set of 5.1 inputs and no hdmi.I need a switcher so i can utilize both the denon and tosh.Right now i have the tosh connected via coax.Is there an inexpensive switcher out there that will auto sense the denon or tosh so i wont have to keep getting up and switching to the one i want to use.thanks
P.S. i hope i explained this correctly.

$250, but it's supposed to be excellent:

why not utilise co-ax or optic fibre inputs on the 1056 then?

Here is a switch from Audio Authority. http://www.digitalconnection.com/products/audio/aa1177.asp Or are you looking for a dedicated switcher for 5.1 analog inputs? I would ask this question in the Home A/V Distribution & Networking forum.

That's what i'm doing now, using coax on the a1.It does sound great with the dig.,but everyone raves about the 5.1 analogs.
