I ordered 4 Palliser Brando chairs and received them recently. Furnitureblue.com was very responsive at first, but now that the chairs have arrived and I have the bad luck to have a couple of problems, they don't seem to be acting with the same urgency. Perhaps my expectations are too high.

Anyone else have experience with these guys?

thanks,
Mat

Furnitureblue.com has stepped up and are sending out a furniture repair person to fix my problems (hopefully). Should be taken care of the first week in December.

For thread continuity, I will provide an update once the repairs are made.

I was checking out Furnitureblue.com and considering purchasing from them. Any other comments?

I got my Palliser Brandos from Furnitureblue.com in Sept.
There was a problem with one chair(of seven). It was a factory defect.
Furnitureblue.com was responsive to my needs. It did take a few weeks to locate a qualified person to change the "mechanism"of my chair.A new mechanism was sent and the chair was repaired.
I was very happy with the service and I love my Brandos.

ordered a sectional through them and had no problems... though that was 3 months ago and i haven't even took the wrapping off them. But as far as getting what i ordered, the ordering process itself, was very good. The person that helped me over the phone was very nice

Sorry for not posting this update sooner.

I had a damaged chair that had a twisted frame so that it wouldn't recline properly. I contacted furnitureblue.com and they arranged for pickup and subsequent replacement; I think it took a couple of weeks for the new chair to come.

The replacement chair was as damaged as the one it replaced. At this point I decided to engage furnitureblue.com's return policy. The folks at furnitureblue.com really did try to make me happy -- they offered me a tempting settlement to keep the deal alive, but I lost my faith in Palliser at that point.

I lost about a grand on the experience (return/restocking fee on a row of 5 Palliser Brando chairs) but I don't blame furnitureblue.com. They honored their end of the bargain. I wouldn't buy Palliser furniture again.

To this day, I still haven't bought seating for my theater. I am just about to build the stage/proscenium, GoM the walls, buy a new projector and at that point, I will try to find something. I had a chance to try out some Coaster seats locally and I couldn't believe how solid they felt, so I may go that direction, or try to find a comfy sectional.

expat0007,

Have you looked into the Berkline HT seating?
