I wanted to post pictures of my Flexy inspired TV stand that I have made for my 32in LCD and my audio/video equipment.

Nice rack!!
I used six rods for my 40 inch wide rack. I think it would hold a tank.:)

I was going to use 6 rods, but felt that it would have been to much. I think with 1 1/4 inch top and bottom pieces and 3/4 middle piece with four rods would work well and it has. The back piece that holds the TV is screwed into the back of the top and bottom piece of the stand and there is also a 2x3 on the center of the 1x12 to add support. It does move slightly, but that is only if you push on it real hard to make it move. Other then that it looks and work very well and I am very happy with the outcome of it! There are a few minor things that still need to be done, but are not required.

You could use 4 t-nuts on the top if you wanted to get rid of the rods sticking up, but it would raise the top an inch or so.
