it seems the new model 32" and 37" accept 1080p input signals via HDMI and component!?!?.... now of course the TV is downscaling the 1080p signal to match its native resolution of 720p(768p actually). but still this is very interesting because it states NOWHERE on the manual or website that these tv's can accept a 1080p input via HDMI or component!

this indeed is MOST interesting.. now of course the TV isnt actually displaying 1080p, but **** i didnt know the Vizios or any HDTV can accept 1080p via HDMI?!? i know the specs for the Vizio doesnt state anywhere that it can accept 1080p via HDMI!. im SOOO going to have to check out the games(resistance) in 1080p and see if it looks the same or alittle better then set in 720p since technically the TV is slightly upscaling 720p to a actual 768p and the Tv is downscaling 1080p to 768p.. i think its always better downscaling then to upscale something and add information that really isnt there in the case of upscaling.
