Hey guys-

Last summer I bought a Miglia HD TVMini and Miglia was offering a $50 rebate as some of you may know. I thought I barely missed the deadline in sending the rebate form. But I got a check from them last week, however, I tried to deposit it today at my bank and they couldn't accept it.

Well, they could, but because it was from outside the United States, United Kingdom issued check I believe, they would have to go through a process of getting the funds tranferred and a fee would be required that could effectively cut the rebate in half, or more! They suggested I contact Miglia to ask for another check with the proper United States banking system routing info on the check!

Have any of you gone through this with this rebate? I'll send an e-mail to Miglia first.

I got the rebate check and had it bounced back to me by my bank with an ungrammatical automated printout (it read, 'ITEM ARE NOT VALID'). I've been meaning to contact Miglia. Any results?

We took care of most customers back when this happened, and you have my sincere apologies for it not being taken care of at that time.

Please send an email to nps -at- miglia (sorry, AVS won't let me put the url in until I've made 5 posts) and this will be sorted out with a check on an American bank that your banks will accept with no trouble.

Again, I'm sorry this has taken so long to resolve (and Nelsun, I wish I had known when you came by the booth at Macworld, I would have gotten it sorted out that week.)

I don't have this problem, but I wanted to say that I am very happy to find that a Miglia employee is reading these posts and responds so quickly! I wish other manufacturers were so conscientious! I will definitely look at Miglia when I Comcast finally gives my area HDTV!!!!
