I'm completely lost in choosing a screen to go with my Mitsubishi HD1000U
My room size is 14' L x 12' W x 8'H
I will be ceiling mounting it about 13' from the screen
I think the offset is 33%

Any suggestions? My budget is $200 or less.

omegatek,

What did you end up getting? I am looking for something similar.

Im about to pick up this projector as well and was wondering the same. I want a 100" fixed screen and was considering a Do-Able solution. Would this be a good choice for this projector?

Thanks,

I am in a similar boat but I need a pull down or electric. My room is 14x19x8. I was considering a 100-106" screen. There is another thread about the Monoprice screens which are a bit over $200 shipped but they are electric. My only concern is the size is 108". Not sure if you can use a larger screen than the projected picture size. I am sure you can but not sure what it looks like...

Less than $200 does not give you a ton of options unless you go to a fixed DIY screen.

sounds like you need a greywolf screen

I'm also trying to decide on a screen for the HD1000U. I'm looking at the Da-lite HC or HP Model B. Any thoughts on either one? or a better suggestion?

My setup
Room: 19 L x 9 W x 9 H
Mount: Ceiling
Lighting: Completely dark or some ambient for sports.

FYI Monoprice also has a 135" screen but both are out of stock, back ordered expected in a few weeks.
