Recently I've been looking for a cheap, small television to play Xbox 360 and also use a replacement for my computer monitor. I've come across two televisions that seem to meet these requirements; the Vizio VX20L and the Viewsonic N2060w, though I'm unsure of their quality since neither have many reviews around. Can anyone who has had some experience with these TVs chime in and tell me more about them or give me some information on similar priced and sized HDTV/Monitors?

The VX20L is new and not too many folks have one yet. I ordered one a week ago and it's supposedly shipping today. I'll post my opinion of it when it arrives.

Far as I know, the VX20L is the only small screen LCD tv with an integrated ATSC tuner, which is the reason I bought it. There are lots and lots of small LCD Tv's out there without the ATSC tuner.

I have one but I have not hooked it up. I have an installer coming on the 20th.

Just installed one in the kitchen yesterday. It is on top of the fridge so the viewing angle is upwards. So far I am pleased with the picture quality. I did notice my wife's daytime soap had a scene in a dark room and it was little difficult seeing it clearly. This may possibly be due to the viewing angle as well as the kitchen brightness from the sun (western exposure).

I am sure the vizio is better than the viewsonic. I bought the vizio vx20l at costco a couple days ago. Overall it is a nice set, I bought for the kitchen and the atsc tuner was mandatory. The picture contrast is fine. Close viewing reveals lots of picture noise which makes sense viewing 1080i on a 20inch tv. I have also had the set "lock up" a couple times where the screen just goes black when changing channels and I have to unplug the set to reset it as the buttons on the side of the tv and the remote ceases to work. I may have to take it back if tech support can't help. But, that is why I purchased at costco. Analog cable looks pretty good through coax, but hd looks a little grainy through the coax and a little better with hdmi.

I am another new owner of the Vizio VX20L and am impressed at the quality for the size and price. It is the perfect size for a kitchen TV. SD looks about as expected (with options to letterbox, full-screen, or zoom) and QAM HD is surprisingly good. I have not tried it with a STB or as a computer monitor.

can someone try to use the panoramic mode and watch a program with scrolling on the bottom like a financial show with stock tickers running across the bottom. Do you notice how large the scroll is on the left and right side. Is that normal?

I have tried to reach Vizio but the hold times are so long I never can get through.
