View Full Version : Da Vinci Code Blu-ray available???
edo9125 12-11-06, 11:09 PM I just looked at my account and noticed my order says that it will be shipped on friday. Has anyboy checked their order and noticed a change? This same thing happened 2 weeks ago with my hd dvd order of chronos, they didnt announce it or change the product page, they just changed the date on my account and shipped it. Is it even possible that this might happen with The Da Vinci Code.

SXRDMan 12-12-06, 12:10 PM I had this pre-ordered at DvdPlanet and a few weeks ago they cancelled it with some comment that it is no longer available or not coming out...blah, blah, blah. Hopefully it will be out soon. I am tired of waiting.
Release date is tagged for the end of the month on Amazon. If you get it post pics :)
I am really looking forward to this one. I would love it if it came out soon... :)
BreakPoint 12-12-06, 08:18 PM I just watched Da Vinci Code upconverted SD DVD on the Panasonic Blu-ray player and it looked great. The PQ was one of the best I've seen on a SD DVD. This is probably because all the extras were on the 2nd disk and there was space for a high bit rate. The extras ran about 1 hour 40 minutes.
millerman3732 02-22-07, 10:51 AM Where the heck is this movie on BD? Does anyone have it yet?
uk release 05/03/2007...11 days time.
play.com have it for £18 ;)
Mr. Cinema 02-22-07, 11:37 AM I'm sure the US will get this one in the next few months. It's probably ready to go, unless they are still working on some interactive features.

UK date format is typically listed as:
day/month/year

I'm sure the date format is different in Europe.

They can't properly pronounce their own language either.
Jonathan Hickey 02-22-07, 03:22 PM My wife is bugging the heck out of my about this title. I have refused to buy it on DVD and I am still holding out for a Blu Ray release. Come on Sony and put this out already.
_Avarice_ 02-22-07, 04:03 PM They can't properly pronounce their own language either.
What an off-coloured remark!!

los seres 03-27-07, 10:43 AM No Blu-Ray Da Vinci Code Until Next Year.
However, Sony is still easing into the Blu-ray format. The studio is planning to hold off releasing The Da Vinci Code in the format until next year, when more of the movie’s target audience will have purchased Blu-ray players.

SXRDMan 03-27-07, 03:11 PM This really sucks, at least for the three of us who wanted this on BD. Sony's reasoning is also faulty on this title's release.
