I am upgrading my home theater setup and have been trying to purchase an APC S15 home theater UPS for DAYS. It does not seem to be available from any of the online retailer (the only one I found was American Theater and they have not return my call within 2 days, which tells me what the rest of the purchase experience with them may be like).

APC has done a very lousy job making this unit available to end users. When I called them, they referred me to Starin Distributing, which is just a distributor. Starin referred to me to a couple of companies in NYC area, none of which returned phone calls.

Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase APC S15?

From what I understand, most of these units go to High End HT installers and not box stores.

I bought the S15 and another APC unit from AMSound.com. Transactions went fine.

I have purchased a lot of equipment from AVS in the past two years, at competitive prices. I purchased my two APCs before they carried these units. IF AVS carries them now, I would recommend them. Jason is the sales person I work with as well.
