Does Sirius carry the local radio broadcast of each NFL game or is it Sirius announcers?

If it is the local broadcast, does anyone know if it is ahead or behind the tv or is it sychronized with it?

i've never sat and listen to the broadcast while i was watching it on tv , so i couldn't tell you if it is "real time". but from what i know you can choose the home broadcast of either team and it's the same am station announcers that you would hear if you turned on your local radio

I'm pretty sure there's a 10 second delay[there is when i'm listening/watching the NHL/college football/basketball/baseball on XM].

Sirius audio is behind TV which makes watching TV and listening to Sirius kind of useless. Only good thing I found about NFL on Sirius is if game you wanted to hear was not broadcast on TV.

No, this will work perfect for me. I can pause my DVR, wait for the radio broadcast to catch up, and I'm all set.

SWEET!!! This has been driving me crazy all year because the local AM broadcast here was in sync with a different cable system for the first time in years so I could no longer listen.

With Sirius being behind and my DVR, I'm now all set!

I love Sirius!

They carry the feeds of both the home and visiting teams announcers...so you can listen to the bias of your choice. ;)

Additionally, Sirius runs a 6 second delay, so the game is most definitely not synched with the television signal. Plus...depending on if you're watching over the air, cable, or satellite...you'll experience those nuances with the signal as well.

I think the best way to listen to your home team's feed without much difficulty would be to have a DVR and delay it to synch up with the Sirius feed. This would preclude you from channel surfing the Sunday Ticket package though without re-synching everytime you went back to the main game.

Good luck! I have fought this battle as well.
