Anyone else with Comcast and their 3-device remote having no results with the H/K codes 0110 and 0189 in auxillary mode?

I am having the same problem and have not found a code that will work. I have contacted Comcast and Harman Kardon and neither one of them have been able to help me out. Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

What is the model number of your receiver? Also, what is the model number of your remote (it should be inside the battery compartment, starting with "URC-....". Generally, setup code AUX/0110 should give you basic functions like volume and input selection (they are the number keys). Do any of those functions work? Power on might work, but possibly not for power off, but there's a way to program that.

If you want functions beyond that, you would need to get a JP1.2 cable (http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1009) to add an upgrade for the HK receiver.

Can you tell me how to program so the power goes off? It goes on okay, but not off. Thanks!

Assuming you are using AUX/0110 or AUX/30110, depending on which remote you have, do the following to add power off to shift-POWER:

1. Press and release AUX
2. Press and hold SETUP until the remote blinks twice
3. Type 994
4. Press and release SETUP
5. Type 00002
6. Press and release SETUP
7. Press and release POWER key

The remote should blink twice to confirm. Now, if you press and release SETUP and the press POWER, it should turn off the receiver. If you would rather program it in a non-shifted button, do the steps above except skip step 6 and press the key you want to program power off function to in step 7
