The new "Favorite Channels" feature of the Harmony software has a definite bug.
Using the 659....can't update either with the standalone app or the Web site...getting this error...
"ASSERTION failed::Application-defined or object-defined error(1)Context: HarmonyRemote=Harmony659, ConfiguratorName=TiVo"
This happens when I try to enter digital channels under "Favorite Channels", the new feature of the updated software. I used both a dash, e.g., 4-2, and a period, e.g., 4.2, and neither worked. The only way it would allow me to update the remote is to enter just numerals. I have e-mailed customer support to see if there is a remedy for this. Really sucks if you can't have digital channels as favorites.

You should call Harmony Support and have the Tier 1 tech immediately transfer you to Tier 2. I had a problem with my 768 when they added this in because of a customizaton that conflicted with it. The Tier 2 crew is much more adept dealing with the problems of the older remotes. They will, at least, be able to get to the developers to fix the problem.

It was after the phone call that I discovered what caused the problem (the digital channels), and, when I eliminated those, I was able to update the remote. Of course, that didn't solve the problem. I e-mailed them back to explain what I did. If I get a response with any kind of solution, I will post.

I'm running into the same problem with my 676. Did you get any help from Logitech?
