I can't remember for the life of me what this stuff is called but I've used it before in pull boxes and such. It goes on a sharp edge usually a metal edge to protect cables from being cut. It usually comes on a spool similar to how spiral wrap comes. You can shape it anyway you want as it comes in a long strip and it just fits snug over the edge of whatever edge you are trying to cover. ANyone have any clue as to what I am talking about or what this stuff is called. I've been searching for about a week now and I can't find this stuff. thanks in advace
I know what your talking about, but can't recall, you could always use some split loom over the edge, I have done that in the past and it works great. Add in some strip caulk on the edge under the loom and you would have a very tough time hurting a cable

Is it basically a rubber grommet that comes on a spool and you can cut to length? You may be able to find a grommet that specifically fits the hole your protecting. As Crazy said split loom is always an option.

yeah that would work for structured wiring but i actually want to use this stuff in a computer case for some holes i'm cutting for routing cables and tubing. Man it's driving me nuts trying to remember what this stuff is called. I know i could find it on google if i could remember the name of it.
