Does anyone have an opinion on which HD cable PVR is better: PACE 775 or Motorola 6412? This is with Bresnan Cable.

Also, does anyone have the discrete IR codes for the Pace box? Specifically, the power commands?

I am testing a PACE 775 right now, functionally all seems to be the same as the 6412. Most things I do not like are cosmetic, blue leds for chan/time are hard to read. Power on light is extremely bright. Otherwise it's using the same software as the 6214. Not sure how much work there was to get the box setup with my cable provider, but I heard they worked pretty hard to get it done since the shortage of 6412s. There's a few bugs but it's been working for 3 days now and no family member has complained.

Not to worry... I am working with one of your PACE engineers here in town. I have had quite a few issues. Seems the longer I have the box the more that goes wrong. No VOD with HDMI is one we found. The DVR section (after 2 weeks of working fine) is now saying that a show recorded but there is nothing in diagonstics. Per the (0) in the diag. menu. I have spent a few hours helping out and now they want me box back so they can return it to Florida.

I just replaced the 6412 with the 775 and the 6412 picture was much better.
