does the a/v forum have a sticky or link to a drawing which shows the back of each component and which cable achieving the best connection to the next component ?

example.

dvd player has 4 or 5 ways it can deliver video.

so the drawing shows best way on down to worst way it can deliver signal to the next and final components

the oppo dvd player has all kinds of outputs for video.

i am not sure which cable i should/can buy, which achieves best or just as good as the high dollar connection/but for a lower price alternative.

i ask because i have a 250 foot spool of rg-6 and wondered if i could just run 3 runs of it, and crimp on the ends and have a low price componet cable set, that would work about 9? % as good as the 370.00 monster hdmi cable at best buy.

Don't buy Monster cable and do order from Monoprice and the cost issue will go away.

You should have good luck with your RG6 if it's good cable. I just replaced all my component/composite/audio cables with Canare RG-6 with Canare connectors. Works wonders and there is nothing like custom length cable.
