Hello, all.

I've been lurking for a while, but this will be my first post.

Ok, I turned on my PG-M20X, started movie and went into the kitchen, when I came back (twenty or so minutes later), my projector was off, and the power indicator was slow flashing red. Now it won't turn on. I've disconnected the power for a half hour, reconnected it, and it still just flashes and won't turn on. I've tried to do a lamp counter reset to no avail.

I've searched and searched, but I can't find a definition for a flashing power light. Anyone know the cause?

Thanks,
Jared

Take the bulb out, tilt it back and forth carefully and slowly 10X, reinsert bulb, keep your fingers crossed, and retry.

Please excuse my ignorance, but when you say "tilt it back and forth", how do you mean? You want me to carefully rotate it in three dimensions? I guess I don't understand what I'm doing. Am I trying to reestablish a connection of some sort?

I'm eager to try this.

You just turn the bulb upside down and right side up a few times slowly to mix the settled gas in the bulb. It's a long shot but can't hurt to try. Otherwise it may need a new bulb.

That's what the flashing power light means? Ok, I'll give that a try. I appreciate the help.

Thanks,
Jared

Tried this and no dice. I guess I'll be shopping for a new lamp. Anyone have any leads on cheap(er) ones?
