stuck on please wait....tried everything no luck called replay.
Do I send it in and let replay fix it? or do I try and replace the hd myself?
Im no tech guy
Any good info on replacing the hd? what to get and how to?

You can either put in a new drive yourself using RTVPatch and following the directions, or you can buy one ready to install from Mikeyboy.

Its is really simple to replace a hard drive. You can buy them on ebay preprogrammed for your model and just pop it in.. it only involves unscrewing a bunch of screws and unpluging the drive and power cables. The software to program a blank drive to replay is pretty simple too. if you look around you will also find a documents with pictures shows which screws to unscrew etc. I recommend the seagate db35 drives. They are made for dvrs.

dont' ship it to replayTV. Just ship to Mikeyboy if you are not wanting to unscrew it yourself.

followed the install directions and now my replay is working again.
