I just bought a wii and I drove everywhere trying to get another remote and nunchuck and had no luck whatsoever and component cables will probably harder to find. My question is, is the store good at getting stuff out to customers or should I just continue to freaking drive around like crazy

I found the component cables at wally world for $20. Fortunately for me Worst Buy was sold out of their $60 cable.

anyone here ordered through the store yet? it shouldn't be hard to find accessories for this damn thing, its almost as bad as searching for the system itself!

I ordered component cables on the 26th and they were delivered today (Dec. 28) using UPS blue shipping ($7.00). The shipping options were $5 for ground, $7 two day air, and $13 one day air.

No problems with the Canadian Nintendo Store. I also bought component video cables from them.

I ordered cables from the store and had them in two days. I chose the UPSBLUE shipping option. I have no probs whatsoever buying from the Big N store! :)

Great to here. I ordered component cables, remote, and nunchuck. Can't find either of those anywhere...

Ordered via blue shipping option as well.

I didn't get as lucky I guess, I ordered the remote, nunchuck, component cables, and classic controller, and everything showed in stock, but when it shipped, everything but the remote shipped, and that showed backordered.

Kinda frustrating, but not more frustrating that not having a system to use them on.

LOL, tell me about it.

I was placing an order for some DS cases for my GBA games and some game manuals, so I figured I throw in a nunchuk while I was at it. Chances are I'll still be sans Wii when the order arrives on the 9th. Nothing like staring at component cables, a Wii remote, and a nunchuk that you can't use.

Nintendo Store is great... I ordered a nunchuck and component cables yesterday at 4:30 here on the east coast, paid the extra $8 for UPS red ($13 total), and they went from WA to NJ in 17 hours. Arrived at my house at 9:30 this morning! The logistics of overnight shipping still impress me.

Now I can look forward to the same resolution on my Wii as I had on my Dreamcast back in 2000! yay!

But I tried at least 20 stores in the NY/NJ area for the last 2 days and there were "0" nunchucks or comp. cables to be found. Nintendo store had a bunch.

Yes I think the remote is backordered again. I still dont have mine yet and its more than two days. Those that got it before got lucky.
