im using the 360 vga cord.....
if i connect just the RGB to the PJ
i get a dulled pic on the 360 dashboard,
and if i start a game i get squiggly horizontal
lines and blurred areas.....ugly...
if i hook up the HV with the RGB i get a good picture
but it rolls vertically like on an old console tv...
i havent done much messin around inside my PJ as it
works good and i dont wanna mess up a good thing....
im wandering if there is a vert. control in there somewhere
that will fix my problem.....
i usually run everything thru my doubler with no problems...
any ideas?.....zimmy

What resolution are you running from the 360? You should connect it with RGBHV all connected, I'm amazed it got anythin with just RGB, I've never heard anyone state it supported any kind of Sync on Green output.

Umm, did anyone else find the first post impossible to understand??

Some capitals letters and proper punctuation would help, maybe a paragraph or two as well. ;)

Or did you text message AVS via your cell phone?..

If you want some help, make your message clear.

i have the 360 set to 1280x1024, but i tried different resolutions with the same results....
the NEC has a sync to green option,
ive tried it with HV connected also, of course...

with RGBHV connected i get the vertically rolling screen, but the picture appears correct from what i can see...

with just RGB connected, i get a picture, but its darker than normal, AND it gets wavy and unviewable on most screens.

i know my way around the NEC remote pretty well and dont think its just a user setting, also the 360 works perfectly on my 21" trinitron, and also on a Hitachi LCD PJ, both connected with the same VGA as im using for the NEC.

i have a ViDigi somewhere for converting component, but i cant find it...has anyone tried it on the 360?.....zimmy

1280x1024x60HZ is probably too much bandwidth for a 6200....try a lower res.

To be safe, set it up for 1024x768 first, and don't use synch on green, plug the VGA cable into a standard RGBHV breakout cable, or into the VGA input of the NEC switcher if you have one.

You should get a picture, and it should not be rolling or squiggly.
You may have to setup a new input selection on the projector for it.

i set the 360 to a lower resolution ...1024x768...
switched my connections to the pj, then turned
it on also...
works fine now up to 1360x768! 59.9x47.6 hz i believe ; )
needs alot of fine tuning, but its working.........
thx guys......zimmmy
