Got my htpc set up this past week running MCE. I have it hooked up to an old blurry 15" monitor running as my primary and my 30" Philips CRT as my secondary through a 7600GT. I got FEAR Combat started up when I was initially setting up the system. I had the 30" set as the primary, but after deciding I'd never be able to read the text on the desktop or any other app I set it to secondary with the intentions of using it strictly for gaming and movies with the 15" holding my taskbar, etc. Of course, now the game doesn't wanna run on the big screen, just the little one.
So, anyone know of a solution or workaround? Browsing the web a bit I found no answers.

I can't get it to work with Dual-View. I use Clone view and have the same image on both screens...

I swap Primary/Secondaries on the System Tray then play.

You can also set up hotkeys in the Nvidia CP to be able to easily switch the the primary and secondary for games more easily.
why cant you read the text ? i got a 47in in 1080i .........just change the DPI setting to 150 %

Some games allow you to choose the graphics adapter to use. If you have a dual monitor card it should list 2 choices (though it will appear to be the same choice listed twice). One of the choices is the primary the other is the secondary. If one doesn't work try the other. I've been able to set-up several games to run on the secondary this way though not all will work this way. Also many games don't even give this option, though I think FEAR does.
You may have to go through the "graphics set-up" program instead of launching the game to adjust this.
If it doesn't work, using the NV display manager to swap primary/secondary only takes a couple seconds.

I swap primary / secondary by right click desktop -> properties -> settings.
Would be nice to not have to do this each time I choose to play a game on the projector. I don't mind doing it, but what irks me is often my icons on the primary get re-organized. That is annoying.

I used to run dual accounts on certain games way back when and I could run each instance of the game on a different monitor using hot keys. It was an Ati Radeon for what its worth.
